Xiaobaitu, questions for you, please have a look

my current H1 will expire on 12, 2006, I will transfer to another Uni. on July, questions:
1), Can I still work for about two weeks in my current position after the transfer start date for the new empoyer? like, the start date of my new H1 is July 15, I work on my current employer till July 30.
2) my wife has used her EAD for work, does she need apply H4? or she still can keep H4 status.
3) I have to apply for H4 for my son, can we apply later before his current H4 expire (12, 2006)
BTW, our I485 is pending
