I did my Canada PR landing at the end of March, and gave the immigration officer a Canadian address for them to mail me the maple card. After I came back to US, I double-checked whether my Canadian address is already in their system. I went to
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/index.html, which is for providing a Canadian address to the immigration service in case you didn't provide them one when landing. After I logged in, I found there are two columns, the one on the left is supposed to display my current address they have on file, the column on the right is for me to provide a new address, and since the left column is empty, I input my Canadian address (actually my friend's address) in the right column and submitted it. It has been a whole week after that, However, when I just logged in today, I found the left column is still empty.
I really don't know what I should do, since the phone # for maple card center is not accessible from US. Anybody has any suggestion?
I need this maple card to apply for my current H1-B visa stamp from US consulate in Toronto in mid May, some people say if I only have the landing paper, without the maple card, I am only eligible for applying a three-month two entry visa, anybody knows sth about that?
