Question about H1-B transfer

Current H1-B (first 3 years) for Company A will expire 08/31/2006. If I make H1-B transfer to Company B:

1. Will new H1-B be automatically issued with another 3 years period?
2. Is copy of previous I-20 form needed for H1-B transfer?
3. There is 10-month gap between I-20 expiration and H1-B starting date due to OPT. Is this considered a problem?
4. In case that transfer is rejected, what will happen to my current H1-B and future renewl?
5. Is official copy of transcript needed? I only have a few copies of transcript from chinese univ. left, and I don't want to waste it if a photocopy is just fine.
