I've been waiting for more than 27 months and am still waiting. I was told by my congressman's office somehow the process takes much longer for people from Russia
and China because of the spelling. I asked my congressman to file an enquiry to FBI and still waiting
for the result. According to FBI, the long waiting time is not because the handling of the check
itself but of the waitng time for the agent to get tot your case, namely there are two many of cases
before you--another long line. And it will only get worse when all the other illiegal immigrants get
legalized and file their citizenship applications. That's why I called my congressman, and senators( MA )
and Bill Frist's office to tell them i don't support the bill. It's good it's dead now.
