Senate unable to vote on the immigration bill

04/07/2006, 11:30 EST: Very Sad Day for All the Immigrants: Senate Failed to Pass Both Frist and Compromise Bills Today!

Report Indicates that the Senate was not able to break the filibuster for the Compromise Bill and the Bill Frist bill also could not get 60 votes and failed. Consequently, the comprehensive immigration reform legislation in the Senate is shelved. What a tragic and sad day! Please stay tuned for further development.
