Sorry, I can’t input Chinese in the office. Xiaobaitu, mytwocents etc., you guys gave me some advises a few days ago. I just came back from my GC interview today.
First, the officer asked if my attorney is coming. We said no. then she asked us to sign a waiver. The officer asked several questions such as: when and where did you get married? Do you have children? How many children do you have? Have you ever back to your county? Are you working? What is your job? Etc. She also asked several documents including my son’s birth certificate, my hu*****and’s employment letter, and our recent tax return.
She filed the documents in her file (actually my file. My case got denied in December solely because I filed my application prematurely by 4 days, so my file looks very thick today). Then she said that she will review my case and mail a letter to me soon. The letter will be from Missouri center. Then I asked her if my name check is clear. She said yes. She drew a long slash on my original visa page in my passport and wrote CWOP. The whole process just took about 10 to 15 minutes.
Since I heard that normally the officer tells you if you got approved at the end of the interview, I feel awful now and don’t know if something is wrong. Xiaobaitu, mytwocents etc., would you please tell me if this is normal, if I will receive the approve letter soon. I appreciate your kind help!
