Personally, I don't think it is American lawyer vs. Chinese lawyer. There are good Chinese lawers, and also there are good American lawyers. However, many American lawyers are kind of picky, but they are professionals and charge you more. Try to find a reliable lawyer with good reputation, no matter where he comes from. I used one American lawyer, recommended by my friends, he did a good job for me, and all the people I knew applied by him got approved, but he is very picky, as I know he rejected 3 of my friends for NIW
