Birth Certificate for I-485

My I485 is pending. I received a notice from USCIS today asking me to submit a copy of my birth certificate. I came from China and never had a birth certificate. What should I do to meet the requirement? My passpost indicates my place of birth and date of birth. Can I use that page? Should I use the Chinese HUKO and then translate to Engalish? Thanks a lot for your help!
