AP questions again

I140, AP(multi-entry) approved, I485 pending. H1b will be extended in August. I want to go back to China to see GF in April and get married at end of this year.
1) Can i use AP twice? since my status will go back to H1b after August.
2) Will my AP affect my wife's H4 visa? because my status is AOS.
I am just confused after i used AP, do I belong to H1b or not? If i do not belong to H1b, how can she apply H4? After extension, i go back to H1b again, so it will be fine for her H4, am I right?
