No, just need a copy of name change certification

No H1B transfer is requird.

But you need to get a copy of your company name change certification, and submit it to Labor Department.

And also need this copy when do H1 extension.

Ask you your lawyer for detail.

Later you will find that
The name of your company in LC from Labor Department will be XXXXX (formly YYYY).

My company changed its name when my RIR was still in State Labor Deparment 3 year ago.
