被要求 deferred inspection,如何申請H4身份

配偶H1B，我想申請轉H4身份，現在美國，請問是不是隻需申請I-539? 除了I-539 supporting documents, 需要寄護照原件嗎？great if you can give me some web links as well. 謝謝！
