報稅的身份, 請明白人指點迷津

問大家一個初級問題, 我是持有H1B簽證在美做博士後, 沒有綠卡, 應該填哪種稅表, 我的身份應該是resident alien 還是noresident alien, 有的人說我是noresident alien, 應該用1040-NR, resident alien 是指有綠卡的人. 還有人說我就是resident alien, noresident alien 是指拿美國工資, 但不住美國的人. 我真是糊塗了, 請明白人指點迷津. 謝謝.
