Well, first of all, as far as I know, H1B is a immigration intended visa, which means that, officially, a H1B visa holder intends to apply for immigration status. Therefore, VO would not worry about and would not care for any of your immigration intension. During the last two interviews that the one who applied for H1B visa at US Beijing Consulate Office, VO did not ask any immigration related question. All he or she cares is that you have a legit job. Only place that immigration related question was asked is on one of the application forms. It asked if you are applying for GC or anything.
