PERM(EB2) or Outstanidng Researcher(EB1) for GC?

I just started my permanent job in a company. I'm not sure whether I should apply for GC by PERM or OR (my company can sponsor only one of them). Can someone tell me their PERM experience (how long it takes to get PERM approved from scratch)? And how much faster will OR be over PERM to get the final GC, assuming it takes 6 months to prepare all the materials for OR? If there is not difference, I'd rather not to beg/bother people for reference letters..
