My situation is: this september, my H-1 will be three years,I need extend. I have applied GC last year, now NIW-140 approved, I-485 is pending. But our lab need move from the current university to another university in this July. My question is: where should I extend my H-1(I didn't apply for EAD or AP yet)? May I let the new University do my transfer & extend at the same time or I still need my current University extend my H-1 then new University do the transfer(there may be some time gap I guess)? It seems I remember somebody talked about here that once your 140 approved, if you transfer to another place, you are not suppose to either transfer or extend your H-1, your have to apply for EAD each year. Is this true? Can any kind people here give me some suggestions for my complicated situation? Thanks a lot
