One unclear question for help/Fingerprints

One unclear question for help:
I140 NIW priority date , July 2004. concurrently submitted I140/I485 for whole family. My wife and I received the Appointment Notice letter and did fingerprint/code 1 (each for ten fingers only) in April, 2005. I just received an ASC Appointment Notice for my child (9 years old) to do the code2/biometrics in this week. BUT, my wife and I did not receive such a notice and we did NOT do Code 2/biometrics before.
Is this normal?
Should I call the USCIS service center 1-800-375-5283 to ask whether they also sent my wife and me the similar letter recently?

Is it possible for me and my wife to call USCIS to make an appointment for our biometrics?

Or it is normal , just wait.
