My hu*****and (citizen) and I(F-1 student) just finished the interview with INS yesterday. My hu*****and is my sponsor for my application for green card based on marriage. The interview was very short and simple. On the letter the INS mailed to me said this interview would be recorded. But I didn't see any video recorder in the office. No any personal questions. The INS officer asked my hu*****and if he was a NBC(natural born citizen) and he asked about my school. He also asked if I ever did some criminal things or did some prostitute stuff. Kind of silly questions. Anyway, the interview went good. The officer said my finger print was expired and I need to get a new one. He said after my finger print shows no criminal records, I will get approved for the conditional green card. This will take a couple of weeks.
He also told us when we need to apply to remove the condition, which has been changed. The old policy is two years after getting married, but the current policy is two years after the immigrant was granted the permanent resident.
