小白兔真熱情-AP Question

Marriage based GC application, pending, current on H1B status(not H1 visa).

Plan to apply for AP. Questions:
1. Just want to visit back, is it a valid reason for AP application?
2. After I come back, can I still work under my H1 status or I need to apply for H1B or EAD?
