Your laywer is very brave. Yes as long as your 485 is eventually adjudicated 180 days after filing, you can switch to a same or similar job at 140 stage . However, what if you 485 is adjudicated before 180 days? What if the original company withdraws the 140 before 180 days of 485 pending? What if the 140 is denied?
