it means after getting LPR
admitted as an immigrant --> enter US (aka landing) with imm. visa
adjusted to that of an immigrant --> I-485 approval

But why would you want to file NR form anyway? unless you have a lot of items to deduct? Otherwise, residents enjoy greater standard deduction.
