Use AP or H1B to back China?

I am H1B visa now and just learend I might need go back China in May for helping on training people in a Lab. My I-140 was approved and I-485 is pending.

I didn't apply AP. My questions are 1) Should I use AP or H1B to visit China? which is better and safer? 2) How long will it take to get AP? Is the time enough for me to get Ap before I leave for China?
3)I also bring my 3-year-old daughter with me, where to purchase the cheaper ticket? Thank you very much.
