Dear all:
I am a postdoc and work with H1b visa (non-profit type) at a university. I just got a job offer from a for-profit company. Since the H1b for 2006 has reached the cap, the company is applying for an O-1 visa for me. The lawyer requested me to provide "the name of an organization which can credibly provide a statement that the applicant is of extraordinary ability in the sciences". Some websites also mention that this is probably to get an advisory opinion from a peer group. It seems this is different from the letter of recommendation. I don't have any idea of this kind of organization and I don't know where I can get this information.
Could anybody provide any suggestion/information about this kind of organization. My research field interfaces chemistry, chemical engineering, and biochemical engineering.
Thanks for your kind attention and help.
