能否向律師要回$1000 non-refundable deposit

辦綠卡的時候，教了$1000 的押金給律師後，過了一段時間又決定自己辦了，現在140批了。明知道合同上寫的是non-refundable.但還是覺得律師還沒開始幫忙呢，1000美元就這麽沒了。。。。。

有那位有相似的經曆，你們試過想把押金要回嗎？
