I got my I140 approved on Jan 10, 2006. I did not do I-485 yet. Now I received a letter from National Visa Center as follows:
We have received the Agent of Choice letter (form DS-3032) from the principal applicant selecting you as the agent. Before we can continue processing, you must pay the fees required to process the Immigrant Visa application for each applicant. Enclosed is a fee bill for the principal applicant and each applicant on this case that is immigrating with this person.
The fee including:
$335 IV Application processing fee
$45 IV Security Surcharge
Total: $380
When we receive your Immigrant Visa fees, we will send you the Immigrant visa application (form DS-230 part I) along with further instruction.
My I-140 case is DIY. I did not file DS-3032 in my case.
Does it mean the visa number is available soon? I select Montreal to have the interview. I do not know if this is the reason?
Thank you very much
