485問題請教xiaobaitu,mytwocents和其他熱心人

我剛補了485的體檢報告, 看到網上update了我的信息:
On February 14, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 365 and 540 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.
該怎麽理解這段話呢? 我是2005年九月底遞的140/485, NIW, Vermont Center, PD is Oct, 17 2005. 2006年一月份批的140, 二月初被通知補交體檢報告. 這裏所說的preliminary processing was complete 是指什麽呢? 是說name check 或 background check 嗎? 聽說那是最花時間的步驟. 還有, 這裏說一般要用一年到一年半的時間來處理, 還可能少於這個時間, 可這排期才到2002年啊, 又怎麽理解呢? 是不是所有的485的Case, 都會收到這樣的模板回複啊? 有點迷惑, 不知有沒有同樣經驗的或熟悉這方麵情況的朋友能給我解釋一下? 多謝了!
