Considering other's suggestion and in case not misleading you, you will get result within 15 days if applying premium processing @1,000. That means you still have a lot of times to get approval notice until this May. By the way, if you work at non-profit organization, the risk of not approval is very small. The problem is who wants to cover this $1,000, you boss or yourself, or you do not matter. If I were you, I would go premium processing and avoid any trouble later.
