Questions about landing Canada. Thanks.

I am going to land in canada in June or July. I have some questions that need help from all of the friends here for suggestions. I really appreciate for all of the great input for them.

1. How long will it take to get the maple card? 1 month? If I leave canada without the maple card (I wil lahve my friend fedex to me later.), will the immigration officer asks me about it when I leave canada? Are there any other troubles?

2. I am studying in US for PhD degree and still need about 1.5 to 2 years. Should I tell the immigration officer the true condition at landing if they ask, or I should tell them a short time?

3. I want to renew the F1 visa in Canada. Will it be easy? I am worrying about it as I changed status in US twice (j1-h1-f1). In all of the consulate, is there anyone which is significantly harder or easier than others? Please share experience.
