I think it's very normal if your case hasn't been decided within 6 months when your priority date has
became current,I ever saw a I-485 case waited for 4 years although other same cases usually were approved within 1 year.But you may get a new EAD easily without
a I-94 card, you may file an I-765 application to the
service center of USCIS where your I-485 case is pending,attach your I-485 receive notice , 2 photo &
a chcek of amount $180,you'll get a new C9 EAD.You
don't need attach your I-94,but if your I-485 based on
a marriage with a US citizen or a green card holder,
you should file your I-765 application to Chicago.
