Thank you so much for the comment. I went back to your last post and wonder if you can give me the name and address I should write to INS to clarify the issue. Because even this offer is gone, I can potentially find others way before Oct.1st. I will face the problem again and I would like to be armed as much as I can if I go to a second interview, talking to immigration attorney.

Thanks a lot. And by the way there are quite a few immigration attorneys agree your point, but they would not say it is for sure, just say they can file for me the transfer and see how INS response, it would not get any worse if INS turns down the transfer petition. The problem is that I cannot persuade my hiring manager to go outside of his company, because he does not want to wrestle with his own attorney.

Oh my, we could all be better immigration attorneys after these struggle.
