Questions about after using AP-Please help!!Thanks

Hi, Friends:
I just used my AP to go back home, and I got a AOS stamp on my new I-94. Before my travel, I was holding H1b in a university. My question is, do I need to inform the school about this change? And can i still keep my H1b as before?
