Actually You have three choices
1) File an motion to open for the denied application.
2) File another extension

In case a denial to the above two options, file 130 and 485 for her

or you can just file 130 and 485 for her without use either of the above option. Her immigration applcation won't be affected by the decision of the current extension or any of the above two choices.
If she would like to stay, just file 130 and 485 for her. Save you money and time.
