I filed my I485 in July, 2003, which was 8 months after my I-140 had been submitted. I just got my I-140 approval today. I remember that a lawyer once suggested that we should send a copy of I-140 approval to service center again to remind BCIS to re-open my I-148 case, even though this is not required.
I tend to do so because I strongly believe BCIS needs to be remined VERY frequently.
How does everybody think? Any suggestion will be appreciated.
What to do after I140 approval

可以. 雖無利, 但無害處.

有益無害。同時附上一份 485 收據複印件。
