My university attorney said, "with or without my first H1b quota, I could transfer my H1b to a new employer in industry without waiting for avaible H1b quota . But, the new employer attorney wanted to make sure if my current H1b was counted to a quota, otherwise, we have to wait until Oct. for the next year H1b. Thanks for sharing informaiton, any other comments?
