My current H1b expires concurrently with my job in March. I already have a new offer, but it will start in early July. That is the reason for the gap.
Also, I have I-140 pending (NIW and EB-1A) and I-485 pending (with NIW). I have some concern, if I leave the US for a few months, the NIW would become ineffective and, consequently, jeopardizes the I-485.
