A question regarding tax filing

We sold our old house last year and made a small profit from it. We have lived there for 3 years and the amount of profit is less than $500k. I know it is exempted from federal tax, but I guess I still need to include it into my tax filing this year. Does anyone know which form I need to fill for this? And what additional documents do I need to include in my tax filing because of it? Any input is highly appreciated.
