Is the lawyer telling the truth?

我們最近了解到：After Perm application is filed 90 days，可以inquire with DOL，但
律師回信一味強調說：會有很大的副作用,建議接著等。
大家覺得他是偷懶不想inquire，故意強調負作用嗎？



律師的回信：

While inquiring is possible, in the past they have had the adverse
effect of slowing a case processing down further, or drawing unnecessary
attention. Since it has not been pending too long, I would recommend
not making an inquiry at this time.
