Our office's FedEx account works well in US, for others to send materials to us. But it doesn't work abroad, even in Europe. I know most boss won't care the postage,and they do send me, sometime, the reference letter even in FedEx at their expense.

You may want to check with FedEx, whether you can get a global account.
