Canada Landing Photo

Received third letter for Canada immigration and require us to send passports and 3 photos for each (35x45mm). But all the passport size photos taken here in US are 2X2 inch. I am just wondering will it be fine just send the phtto of 2X2 inches to them. I know we can cut it by ourself, but do not have paper cutter at home and tried on one using knife which does not look very good.
