I saved the fax on my brothe's computer in China. I'll check with him. If he hasn't deleated it, I'll have it emailed to you.

The fax doesn't has to be very fancy, but it won't hurt if you make it formal by using Word---File-New--Letter&Fax--Professional Fax and type in all the info required. Just include all those necessary info, and explain to them why you have to have an earlier appointment, like you have an important project at work to finish after you come back.... And be polite, ending your fax with something like:

Your prompt and favorable consideration is highly appreciated.......

I don't know whether you could use your friend's phone# in China. I know that they will only contact you by phone. I think it should be Ok to use your friend's phone, otherwise they have to make an international call to talk to you. :P
