US INS should not issue new ones to you, but some officers may renew or issue new ones. I have got my renewed, the officer even put my A# along the stamp.

I did not know this should not happen, but I got it. It is not my fault, INS just issued it.

Try your luck ... to save some money with TN ($56), EAD is much more expensive ($180).
