It is a good idea to contact your hu*****and's company lawyer to see if there exists a better way to move you out of this bad situation.
If you decide to leave, remember to turn in your I-94 at the airline counter, so stop your overstay clock, keeping your airticket boarding pass in case for future use. I am sure you will come back with a H-4 visa. F2 is difficult to tell from your passport if you ever overstay your status. Ask a lawyer which is best for you, to apply for a visa soon or after a while.
After you come back, remember to maintain your status carefully. The law says that when the overall overstay exceeds 180 days, the 3-year ban will apply. You only have less than one month of allowed status gap left before you get your GC.
Good Luck!
