Very Confused! Plz help!

Sorry to type English.

I am currently on OPT which will expires in July this year. I filed I-765 for work permit last month to get another work permit before my OPT runs out. About a week ago, I received a phone call from National Benefit Center, saying since currently I am holding a work permit, I can't file for another one 90 days before the current one expires. But yesterday, I got a Biometric notice for I-765. I called the national center and their system didn't have my receipt number on the I-765 fingerprint notice. I am very confused - should I go ahead to do the FP? Or wait until 3 months before July and file again?
