help:J1 to F1

一朋友的孩子,中國高一學生,現國際交流學生(高三或四).現得到一大學offer和部分獎學金.沒有高中文憑和TOLEF成績.她現持J1, 一年有效.現想在美換J1 成F1,不知有否可能?
因擔心回國簽不成.如回國, 有沒把握再回來? 請大蝦們幫忙!1!
