I think you have no idea about this "ten year" visa.
1. "Ten year" visa is only good for B1/B2.
2. For B1/B2 visa application, you have to show strong tie to Canada. The minimun requirement is a)you have been living in Canada for at least one year;b) you have full-time employment in Canada for at least 6 months.
3. Per US immigration law, any new status compromises previous status, which means if you are admitted as B1/B2, your F1 status will no longer exist, therefore your OPT and EAD will be automatically invalid.
