If you don't understand something, don't say it. Otherwise, you are just misleading ppl.

NIW is self-petition without sponsor of the company
(or university), so you can change job anytime, no such a thing of 180 days. (you can file it today and change job
tomorrow).

The only requirement is staying in a similar field.
But this is less restrictive.
