Actually I prepared my GC application for almost 10 months from visiting websites, lawyer selection, collection of Ref letters, and finaly the submission of all petition files. Permanent job and GC are both important for us. I missed many job opportunities because of immigration visa. However recently i got a job offer, but this totally depends on that I just submitted my EAD application and i got it a few days ago. So I think GC is much more important than goob job, once you have EAD, you have many choices. However if you don't have work authority for any employer, you cjoice is much limited. There are so many good jobs in the market, now and in the future, but GC can let you go into the gate for these good jobs. Good luck.
