For Mexico,if you don't take airplane, just drive car or ride bus to go to the border,then enter the country on the land, you don't need visa.I have tried twice.But you will need visa if you enter more than 100 miles. If you don't have one, you may pay fee to Mexican officals to get it at checkpoint.
