I have a master's degree. Wondering if I have other options other than getting another job offer soon or change the status to F1.

I was informed to get a new job 2 weeks after last pay check. So I have 6 weeks left before the deadline. Have a few interviews in 1-2 weeks. Do you think I should tell some of the future employers that I was laid off and have tight time constrains? Or better not tell them and count on my luck?

What about change my visa to B1 if i don't get an offer in 1.5 months?
