H1B renew and Drive license

My wife old H1B is going to expire at the end of this month, as well as her drive license . She changed her job two month ago. And the New company is applying an new H1B for her and it is still not approved yet.

She even can not renew her drive license now, and she has to drive to work by herself after her old drive license expeired at the end of this month.
