i happened to call my lawyer (rude though).

my rir was filed in 10/03 and no 45-d letter so far. lawyer made very clear that if i now file perm and get approved obviously in 06, then my priority date will be somewhere of 06. she said it is "unwise" to bring myself back 3 years of the waiting list. also seems chinese applicants have their own waiting group. i am at some "second preference"place, lawyer somehow offered the idea to me that even i get LC today, nothing to do right away, no difference to getting it later (somewhere i have no idea). so i've decided not to worry anything in 6 month...wise?
